The senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars will have nearly a full house for the friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua.
Ghana as part of preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be played in Qatar later this year will be involved in two friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua in this month.
A fortnight ago, head coach of the team, Otto Addo handed call-up to 29 players. Four players in the squad who are Thomas Partey and Baba Iddrisu, Benjamin Tetteh and Elisha Owusu were reported injured and likely to miss the game.
Howbeit, newest development stipulates that Thomas Partey, Baba Iddrisu and Elisha Owusu have recovered from their respective injuries and will be available for the two friendly games.
Hull City forward Benjamin Tetteh is ruled of the games due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Hull City’s 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United early this month. The bulky forward is expected to also miss the World Cup after a surgery.
All other players are in fine health and expected to honor the call up. The team is expected to open camping for the friendly games on Monday, September 19 in France.
Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
