Ghanaian duo Kamaldeen Sulemana and a Mohammed Salisu have suffered relegation in the English Premier League with Southampton.
Relegation was confirmed for the Saints following their 2-0 defeat to Fulham in the Matchday 36 clash at the St. Mary’s Park, courtesy goals from Carlos Vinicius and Aleksander Mitrovic.

With only two games to end the season, the result means it’ll be impossible for Southampton to avoid relegation, regardless of the results.
The Saints are currently stacked at the bottom of the table with 24 points, 8 points behind 17th placed Everton, confirming the team’s demotion to the English Football League (EFL) Championship.

Southampton’s relegation means they will be playing in the second tier for the first time in 11 years. That last time the Saints played in the EFL Championship was the 2011/12 season.
