Ghana came from a goal down to beat Burkina Faso 2-1 in the final of the WAFU zone B tournament staged in Benin.
Burkina Faso took the lead in the 15th minute, Kouame Jean Fiacre Botue pounced on an error by goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad to make it 1-0.
Ghana leveled matters in the 40th minute, Daniel Afriyie connected with a good free kick from Precious Boah to make it 1-1.
Burkina Faso nearly regained the lead on the stroke of halftime, but Hamed Quattara’s effort struck the woodwork.
Precious Boah gave Ghana the lead in the 79th minute, he scored from a free kick to make it 2-1 to Ghana.
Despite the pressure from Burkina Faso in the final minutes of the game, the Black Satellites held on to win the trophy.
