The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has made changes to the times and dates to fixtures for the GHALCA Top six competition.
According to the initial calendar for the competition, two games were to be played on each Match day, with the first game taking place at 3:00 pm and the second game at 6:00 pm.
The new changes will see a single game played on each day, with kickoff time scheduled for 3:00pm.
According to the organizers of the competition, this is to give fans a great time and to as well enjoy each game.
The GHALCA Top six officially kicked off on Wednesday, August 17, with Great Olympics and Bechem United facing off.
The game at the end of regular time saw no goals and penalties was needed to separate the two sides. Bechem United won the shootouts 5-4.
In the second game played earlier today, Berekum Chelsea displayed a spiriting performance to beat Medeama 2-0. Shaibu Haruna and Mezack Afriyie scored for Chelsea in either half.
The competition will continue on Saturday, August 20. Great Olympics will square off with Karela United. Giants Hearts of Oak will kickoff their campaign against Medeama on Sunday, August 21.
