The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will award the most outstanding player, the best coach and the top scorer of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko won the league title for the 24th historic time, amassing 67 points from 34 games. The Porcupine Warriors’ triumph was largely to credited to Franck Etouga Mbella
The Cameroonian who recently departed Kotoko for Egyptian side Al Masry scored 20 of the team’s 48 league goals. A feat which has gone unnoticed and has earned him the most outstanding player award.
Prosper Narteh Ogum who led the team to achieve the triumph has also been named the Coach of the season.
Erstwhile Ashantigold SC forward Yaw Annor will also be awarded for emerging as the top scorer for the previous season with a total of 22 goals in 30 leagues matches.
The trio will be awarded by Electroland Ghana Limited at a date and venue to announced later.
