President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has updated all clubs and stakeholders on the stimulus package, possible return of football, FIFA emergency covid-19 fund and others.

Football in Ghana has been at a stand still since mid March due to the ban on social gathering by the government in bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The unanticipated situation has left the future of the country’s major league and other leagues up in the air. Local clubs are also haunted by financial woes as the FA turn to the government and FIFA for financial support to lessen the financial woes that is infecting local clubs.

In a press statement released on Thursday, the president of the country’s football federation Kurt Okraku updated all clubs and stakeholders on the stimulus package, possible return of football, FIFA emergency covid-19 fund and others.
