Ghana Football Association (GFA) Capo, Kurt Okraku has lauded Mohammed Kudus for his move to Ajax.
The youngster sealed a €9 million move from Danish side Nordsjælland to Ajax, becoming the most expensive Ghanaian teenager in history.
According to the GFA capo, he wasn’t surprised seeing Kudus move to Ajax. He knew the youngster was meant for greatnesses after watching him in his debut for the Black Stars against South Africa.
“I am not surprised with Kudus Mohammed’s move to Ajax Amsterdam,” he told MAX TV.
“He [Kudus Mohammed] made his debut for the Black Stars against South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium and I was impressed. He has qualities as a good player and I am happy for him.
“I can only wish the best of luck because we need such players in our national team,” he added.
Kudus is expected to replace Hakim Ziyech who departed to Chelsea earlier this summer. Kudus will wear the jersey number 20 at Ajax.
The 20-year-old has two appearances for the senior national team, he made his debut against South Africa in a Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. He scored just minutes after coming on.
