The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has changed the date for the Super Cup between better rivals Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
The game between the sworn enemies was scheduled for Sunday, September 4 but has now been moved to Monday, September 5 due to the crucial TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria.
The qualifiers which will determine which team qualifies for next year’s CHAN in Algeria next year is scheduled for Sunday, August 28 at the Cape Coast Stadium and Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Moshood Abeola stadium in Abuja.
Asante Kotoko who were winners of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League will aim for the bragging rights against arch rivals and record FA Cup holders Accra Hearts of Oak in the battle of supremacy at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi.
