The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announce the commencement dates for Regional Leagues across the various Regional Football Associations.
The Regional Leagues which include; Second Division, Third Division, Women’s Division One League and male Juvenile Leagues (U-12, U-15, U-17) will kickoff on Friday, October 28.
Last season, football across the Regional leagues in the various regions were competitive, running from Juvenile to Division Two – where clubs gained promotion to the two elite Leagues in both male (Division One) and female (Women’s Premier League) categories.
At the Juvenile level, champions of the ten Regions also assembled in Accra for the second edition of the KGL Foundation U-17 Inter Club Champions League which was won by Accra-based side Great Corinthians, beating Tamale Real Republicans 4-1 in the final.
The calendar for the various leagues is expected to run from October 2022 to June, 2023. All leagues and middle leagues are expected to be completed by June 30, 2023 to ensure a proper execution of the calendar for next season.
