GFA announce prize money for the 2021/22 Premier League, Division One League and Women’s League

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the prize money for the 2021/22 Premier League, Division One League and Women’s League.

The 2021/22 Football season was launched yesterday at the GFA headquarters, with some top football personalities in the country gracing the occasion.

Speaking at the event, the President of the FA, Kurt Okraku divulged that the winner of the Premier League will receive GHS 250,000 and 40 gold medals.

Runner up will receive GHS 150,000 and 40 silver medals whiles the second runner up will receive GHS 80,000.

All 18 clubs will receive a total of 40 balls each from new sponsor Tempo Balls.

For the Division One League, all zonal winners will receive a car and gold medals, second placed sides will receive GHS 30,000 and 30 silver medals.

Each of the 48 teams across the various zones will receive 40 Tempo Balls

The winner of the Women’s League will receive GHS 50,000 and 40 gold medals. Second placed side will receive GHS 30,000 and 40 silver medals.

Each of the 20 clubs across the two zones will receive, Jersey team Dags, movable mini goal post, balls, ball bags, cones, and shin guards.

The Premier League will kickoff off on Friday, October 29. The Division One League will kickoff on Friday, November 12 and the Women’s League on Friday, December 3.
