The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has announced the nominees for the maiden edition of the Division Two (2) League monthly football awards.
The awards scheme is introduced to enhance the beauty of the game by recognizing and awarding key roles in the GARFA Division 2 League structure.
The categories include the Best Player, Best Coach and Best Referee of the month for the ongoing season.
Five (5) players were selected for the January player of the month award. They include; Nathaniel Nunoo of Ghana Immigration FC, Jeremiah Allotey of Remar Ghana Soccer Academy, Emmanuel Osei of Accraen Verum Ipsum, Bismark Addai of Accra Golden Boys and Still Believe’s Abdul Aziz Misbau.
The winner of this category will be selected based on the number of man of the match awards won, Goals scored and clean sheets kept in the month of January.

Seven (7) coaches were selected for the Coach of the month award. They include; Panthers FC’s Emmanuel Selase Pentem, Nana Kwaku Agyemang of Progen FC, Joyce Aku Menns of Desidero and Emmanuel Kweku Addo of Faith Soccer Academy.
Other nominees are Tony Lokko of Accra Athletic, FC Raisa’s Awudu Issaka and George Otchie of Charity Stars FC.

For the Referee of the month award, Adejetey Bless Confidence, Festus Dormefa Bewu and Lieutenant Cornelius Nettey were selected.

The winners of the various award will be selected by a credible GARFA Technical team and will be announced by the close of the week.
