Hearts of Oak manager Edward Nii Odoom is likely to drop midfield duo Benjamin Afutu and Fred Ansah Botchway for Sunday’s crunch fixture against Inter Allies.
The duo were not at their best and were subbed off in Hearts of Oak’s 2-2 draw against AshantiGold at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
According to a source closer to the club, Fred Ansah Botchway refused to shake hands with manager Edward Nii Odoom after he was replaced by Mitchelle Sarpong in the 65th minute.
Whiles Benjamin Afutu’s commitment on the field has been questioned following his reluctance to sign a new contract with the club.
Abdul Manaf Umar and Mamane Lawali are expected to step in for the two.
Hearts of Oak will play Inter Allies on Sunday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians will hope to secure their first of the season after drawing 2-2 in the first game against AshantiGold.
