Forty-one (41) players expected to report to Black Satellites camp today

The first batch of the two set of Black Satellites invited by Samuel Boadu for camping at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram will report to camp today, Sunday, April 16.

The invited players were selected from a recent screening exercise that took place in Prampram where over 150 players were assessed at different times as part of efforts to select the best materials to represent the nation in future International competitions including the WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations slated for Cote D’Ivoire in July this year.

The first batch of invited players are to report to camp today while the second batch reports on Thursday, April 20, 2023 as the second phase of monitoring, screening and training begins in earnest. Both set of players are expected to report to camp by 5pm on their respective days.

Ghana, Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Burkina Faso, Togo and Cote D’Ivoire will compete in the WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations scheduled for Cote D’Ivoire from July 7 to 21, 2023.

The draw for the competition is scheduled for Monday, April 17, 2023 at 10am at the WAFU-B headquarters, in Abidjan – Cote d’Ivoire.
