Erstwhile Team Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, W.O Paul Tandoh has accused Board member of the club, Alhaji Akambi of swindling the club’s Bankroller Togbe Afede XIV.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Paul Tandoh revealed that one of the reasons why he left Hearts of Oak is because Alhaji Akambi inflated prices of the hotel rooms the playing body lodged in for the MTN FA Cup final against Bechem United in Kumasi.
“The rooms in the hotel we lodged for the FA Cup in Kumasi were 80, 100 and 120 cedis per night but Alhaji Akambi told the Secretary 200 cedis and that’s one of the reasons why I left my role,” Tandoh said on Asempa FM.
Last week, Board Member Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe revealed that W.O Tandoh pulled a gun at the camp of the club ahead of their FA Cup final against Bechem United in Kumasi.
Responding to the allegations, W.O Tandoh stated that they are untrue and it is stupid of anyone to make these allegations without backing it with proof.
“Let them come and say the person who saw me when I pulled the gun. It is stupid of the person who made these allegations without backing it with proof,” he said.
“I won’t sit down for anybody to tarnish my reputation and I will take the person on for making these allegations because I never pulled any gun,” he fumed.
W.O Paul Tandoh resigned from his post as Hearts of Oak’s Team Manager last week. He sighted autocratic, undermining, intimidating and continuous lies from Board members Mr. Vincent Odotey and Alhaji Imoro Bramiah for reasons behind his resignation.
Per reports, Tandoh will be announced as Aduana FC’s new Team Manager in the coming days.
