Former Black Stars midfielder Agyemang Badu vows to shave his hair on live tv should Ghana fail to go past the group stages of the World Cup

Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has vowed to shave his hair on live television should the Black Stars fail to go past the group stages of the World Cup.

The comments from Agyemang Badu who failed to make Ghana’s 2010 World Cup squad due to injury but made the 2014 squad comes in at the back of Ghana’s 2-0 win in their final preparatory game for the Qatar 2022 World Cup against Switzerland.

According to Agyemang Badu, the team has improved so much and would at least go past the group stages.

“Gradually we are doing well with set pieces. We are not up there yet. Now that we have a good bench. I’m not too sure that this team will go down that they cannot qualify from the group. If it doesn’t happen I will shave all my hair,” the former Black Stars midfielder said in an interview with TV3.

“I can bet everything this team will qualify from the group. If Ghana doesn’t qualify from the group stage, I will shave it here. I am so optimistic about this team,” he added.

Ghana is drawn in Group H for the Group stages of the World Cup alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
