VIDEO: Afena-Gyan breaks Napoli hearts as Cremonese progress to the Quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia

Ghanaian international Felix Afena-Gyan came from the bench to propel Cremonese into the last eight of the Coppa Italia after beating Napoli 5-4 on penalty shootouts.

The game at the end of 90 minutes and extra-time ended 2-2. Cremonese struck first in the 18th minute through Charles Pickel, before Juan Jesus and Giovanni Simeone scored in the 33rd and 36th minute respectively to give Napoli a 2-1 lead.

Afena-Gyan was introduced into the game in the 65th minute and announced his introduction in the 87th minute by scoring to make it 2-2. The Ghanaian leapt high and headed in a good cross from Luca Zanimaacchia, his 2nd goal of the season.

The remaining minutes of the game in regular time and 30 minutes of extra-time saw no goals, and penalties was needed to separate the teams.

Cremonese won the shootout 5-4, with Felix Afena-Gyan scoring the winning penalty.
