Executive council of GFA settle on venue for the 2023 GFA elections

The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has settled on the Radach Memorial Hotel in Tamale for the Elective Congress scheduled for Wednesday, September 27, 2023

The Radach Memorial Hotel is located around Lamashegu, 3 minutes drive from the Tamale Sports Stadium and Tamale Central Market.

The Congress, which is expected to start at 9am in the forenoon, will elect Executives to steer affairs of the Ghana Football Association for the next four years.

The Agenda for the Congress is the election of GFA President and Executive Council Members from Premier League, Division One League and Women’s Premier League.

On Monday August 7, incumbent GFA President Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku picked up forms for reelection, during which he garnered substantial support from all 10 Regional Football Association chairmen, endorsing him unanimously for a second term in office.

Kurt Okraku who’s in pole position to be reelected is likely to be contest by erstwhile GFA vice President, George Afriyie, Kojo Yankah, a former Western Regional FA chairman and Bankroller of Berekum Chelsea, Amofa Jantuah.
