Exclusive: Kudus Mohammed has reportedly agreed to join Dutch powerhouse Ajax

According to reports from Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf, budding Ghanaian midfielder Kudus Mohammed has agreed to join last year’s UEFA Champions league semifinalist Ajax Amsterdam.

The midfielder who has recently been left out of Nordsjælland’s match-day squad is expected to soon sign a 5 year contract with Ajax for a few reported to be around €8.5m.

Kudus Mohammed has been astounding for Nordsjælland since joining from Ghanaian side Right to Dreams.

The youngster was handed his Nordsjaelland debut just shortly after his 18th birthday, he has since then featured in 56 official matches and in the process scored 14 times.

His scintillating performances week and week out has earned him a place on the transfer list of the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Marseille, Ac Milan, Inter Milan, Everton, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle etc.

But with recent reports, it looks like the above clubs have lost the battle as the 19-year-old is expected to sign with Ajax.

Kudus has scored 11 goals in his 26 appearances for FC Nordsjaelland this season.

Following his explosive performance with Nordsjælland, Kudus has been shortlisted for the 2020 Golden Boy Award.

He was handed his Black Stars debut in a African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa in November, he scored just shortly after coming on.
