Center-forward Kofi Kordzi has parted ways with Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak, MahamaShaibu.com can exclusively report.
Kofi Kordzi at the start of the 2021/22 football season joined Hearts of Oak on a free transfer following the end of his stay with Qatari fold Muaither SC.
Having previously played for the Phobians from 2018 to 2020, the move was Kofi Kordzi’s second stint at the club.
The bulky center forward had a decent start to life at the club in his second stint, scoring 8 goals in his first 15 games in all competitions.
Kofi Kofi later on struggled to get playing minutes, with reports stipulating that he fell out with Head Coach Samuel Boadu.
In May, Kordzi was suspended from the Hearts of Oak senior team for two weeks for violating his contract when he, without permission from the club participated in an unauthorized football.
Despite enduring a turbulent season with the Phobians, Kofi Kordzi finished the season as the club’s second top scorer with 10 goals in all competitions. He as well played an integral role as the team won the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Kofi Kordzi has joined photography firm Sika fotos. He becomes the second player to sign for the fast rising photography firm after Hasaacas Ladies’ Doris Boaduwa.
Sika fotos will now be in charge of the player’s public appearance, which include his digital/social media appearance and so on.
