Ghanaian youngsters Ernest Nuamah and Ibrahim Osman shone for Danish fold Nordsjælland in their 4-1 win against Viborg FF in the opening game of the 2023/24 Danish Superliga on Monday evening.
Ernest Nuamah lasted 78 minutes on the field and was a scorer of a hat-trick, while compatriot Ibrahim Osman lasted 73 minutes and provided the assist for Nuamah’s second goals.
Nordsjælland found themselves a goal down after 10 minutes of play, Mads Söndergaard scored for Viborg.
Ernest Nuamah leveled the score in the 29th minute, before giving his side the lead in the dying embers of the first half, finishing off a sublime pass from Ibrahim Osman.
In the 59th minute, Ernest Nuamah scored a Robben-esque goal to grab his hattrick and his team’s third. The youngster after receiving a pass from Marcus Igvartsen went pass two defenders and curled a beautiful shot pass the goalkeeper.
Later in the game, Benjamin Nygren scored to wrap up the win for Nordsjælland, 4-1.
