Eric Mensah: The Young Ghanaian Sensation

Nicknamed ‘The Boy’ hails form Odokor in the greater Accra region of Ghana. Eric Mensah realized his football dream at a very young age where he started playing football on the streets of his neighborhood before being scouted by the good eyes of MSK Zilina Africa Football Club to guide and nurture him properly into a professional football player in future.

At age 15, Eric Mensah have been capped over sixty times in competitive matches including the league and FA cup by his club in the Ghanaian third-tier side.

Mensah at fourteen in his maiden league season won the zonal league with MSK Zilina Africa Football Club by playing a key role in the team’s triumphant season and eventually winning an award for the young player of the year.

Eric Mensah is a versatile player who is mostly played on the flanks or middle of the pitch acting as a secret weapon to torment oppositions.

With his dazzling style and silky output on the field of play, he idolizes Chelsea player Christopher Nkunku as his role model in football as there are lot of similarities in their play.

Eric Mensah due to his massive progression as a youngster have been able to travel outside Ghana to have some experience playing abroad including a trip to the United Arab Emirates, Republic of Togo and Gambia for camping and training tours.

The budding talent is already being monitored by clubs from Europe and America and hoping for a smooth transition to capture his signature. Eric Mensah was part of Ghana national U15 squad and currently a potential national U17 player awaiting to be amongst the next batch of players to represent Ghana at junior levels.
