Posted by Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced their squad and jersey numbers for the 2020/21 football season.
The Phobians haven’t won the league or a major trophy since 2009, a drought they’ll like to end this season.
In bid to do so, the 20-times Ghana Premier league winners strengthened their side with the signing of Eric Dizan, Ademola Kuti, Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali, Nuru Sulley, Abednego Tetteh, Patrick Razak, Isaac Mensah, Victor Kwaku Aidoo and some few others.
However, Ademola Kuti surprisingly didn’t make the list of registered players by the club, with the reason for his exclusion yet to be revealed by the club.
Emmanuel Netty was handed the number 10 jersey, Auroras graduate Franklin Owusu will wear the number 4 jersey, whiles Eric Dizan, Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali, Nuru Sulley, Abednego Tetteh and Patrick Razak will wear the jersey number 20, 7, 23, 9 and 17 respectively.
Hearts of Oak will kick the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league season off with an away game against Aduana stars in Dormaa on Saturday.
