The 2023/24 Ghana football season will officially kickoff with the betPawa Ghana Premier League on Friday, September 15, 2023 but before that, there are numerous off-season competitions to watch out for.
The Division One League Super Cup which is specially created for the best performing clubs in the Division One League, that is the winners of each zone, second placed teams in each zone and two of the third best placed teams will kick off on Friday, August 18 and will run to Friday, September 01, 2023.
The competition this year which will be only the third edition will be contested by Heart of Lions, Nations FC, Koforidua Semper FI and Eleven Wonders who are pitted in Group A.

Group B is made up of Skyy FC, Bofoakwa Tano, Young Apostles and Nzema Kotoko. Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports complex in Abrankese and the Paa Joe Stadium will host the games.


The Gbese Mantse Homowo Charity Cup between bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics will be played on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

The Men’s Super Cup between the winners of the betPawa Premier League, Medeama and winners of the MTN FA Cup, Dreams FC will come off at a Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

The Women’s Super Cup which is also only the third edition is set for Kyebi from Friday, September 29 to Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Ampem Darkoa, Dreamz Ladies, Northern Ladies, Supreme Ladies from the Northern Zone, and Hasaacas Ladies, Army Ladies, Faith Ladies, and Berry Ladies from the Southern Zone will compete in the competition.
