Dreams FC conceded late to draw 1-1 against Guinea fold Milo de Kankan in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup in Conakry.
The Ghana MTN FA Cup holders enjoyed a decent first 45 minutes and went into the intervals a goal up. Gael Aholou scored from a fine effort to open the scoring.
Milo de Kankan improved their display in the second half, creating good chances and asking the Dreams FC defense questions. In the final minutes of the game, the home side grabbed the equalizer to end the game 1-1.
The 1-1 draw gives Dreams FC a slight advantage heading into the second leg scheduled for August 27, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
