Topflight side Dreams FC defeated Division Two side Kwaebibirem United 6-0 in a friendly encounter at the Nana Krom Sports Complex on Thursday evening.

Dreams FC grabbed their goals through a brace from Ismael Dede, and a goal each from Agyenim Boateng Mensah, Ali Huzaif, Victor Oduro and youngster Gaye.

The friendly game against the recently relegated Division One side forms part of the team’s preparations for the Quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup against record holders Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium this Sunday.

Dreams will head into the game in search of what will be only their third win against the Phobians from 11 games in all competitions.

The Dawu-based side will also be hoping to exact revenge on the Phobians after losing to them in the semifinal of the competition last season.

Interim Coach Karim Zito will hope his team can replicate their recent form in the league against the FA Cup holders. Dreams are unbeaten in their last 6 games in all competitions, wining 3 and drawing 3.
