Dreams FC have sent an official complaint to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to further investigate allegations of influence-peddling made against unnamed officials of the club by Board Chairman of Bofoakwa Tano FC, Yaw Boateng Gyan.

The former member of the Black Stars Management Committee in an interview with Accra-based Angel FM alleged that young defender Evans Andrew Apau, who recently signed for Kotoko was dropped from the Ghana U-20 team for refusing to sign for Dreams FC.

Yaw Gyan stated that a management member of the U20 team called the player to issue a threat that if the player doesn’t sign for Dreams FC, he will lose his place in the National U-20.

Nevertheless, the threat materialized after the player sealed a move to Asante Kotoko.

He further claimed that the conversation between the player and the Management Member will be traced and the tape presented as evidence to the GFA soon.

Reacting to the allegation, Dreams FC have released a press statement to express their dissatisfaction over the allegation and have as well announced that they’ve sent an official complaint to the GFA demanding investigation.
