Dreams FC have announced the acquisition of ‘goal-machine’ Agyenim Boateng Mensah.
The prolific striker joins on a 4-year-deal from Division One fold Nzema Kotoko.
Agyenim Boateng was exceptional in the annulled 2019/20 football season and was the leading scorer in Zone Two of Division One with 10 goals in just 13 appearances.
Boateng’s awe-inspiring performances attracted a host of Premier league clubs and was on the verge of signing for Karela United before Dreams FC stepped in to secure his signature.
The youngster was an integral member of the Nzema Kotoko team that reached the Normalization Committee Special Competition Tier 2 final, but unfortunately lost to Ashanti Gold. He scored 7 goals in 12 appearances in the competition.
Throughout his time at Nzema Kotoko, Boateng has scored 38 times in 53 appearances and is expected to improve the Dreams attack that scored just 10 goals in 15 games in the annulled 2019/20 Ghana Premier league season.
Agyenim becomes the latest forward to join Dreams FC in recent months after Joseph Esso and Abel Manomey.
The trio are expected to form a formidable striking-partnership for Dreams FC when the 2020/21 Ghana Premier league season commences.
