Drama as Legon Cities team bus leaves players behind after 2-1 defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs

Legon Cities’ horrendous start to the new premier league season continued as they lost 2-1 to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.

A double from Benjamin Acquah handed Ebusua Dwarfs a 2-0 lead, before Joseph Adjei scored from the spot to reduce the deficit.

The result meant that Legon Cities who are yet to win a game and score from open this season will remain bottom of the league log for another week.

The results against Dwarfs is surely one that will be talked of for days, but there was a huge drama that unfolded after the game.

According to media personnel present at the game, the team bus left the stadium empty, leaving the players behind at the stadium.

Further reports also indicated that the team bus left the stadium without the players under the orders of the team officials.
