Ck Akonnor made 5 changes to the team that lost 3-0 to the Eagles of Mali on Friday.
Goalkeeper Razak Abalora, Youngster Benson Annan, Joseph Aidoo, Baba Iddrisu and Samuel Owusu came in for Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Nicholas Opoku, Kasim Nuhu, Bernard Mensah and Eugene Asante.
Felix Sanchez also named a strong Qatari side, Akram Afif, Almoez Ali, Abdelaziz Hatem and Boualem Khoukhi were all handed starts.

Ghana started the game brilliantly, seeing more of the ball and passing it around beautifully, but it was Qatar who had the best chances, with Ali Almoez hitting the post.
The Black Stars broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute through Tarique Fosu. Jordan Ayew after picking a loose ball at the edge of the 18-yard-box made a good run into the 18-yard-box and struck a powerful left foot shoot. Goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb made a good save, but Tarique was there to tap in the rebound.
Qatar drew level in the 43rd minute, Ali Amoez picked a long ball from Boualem Khoukhi, went past the onrushing Razak Abalora and slammed the ball into an empty net.
Ghana after missing some good chances after the recess went ahead in the 63rd minute, André Ayew after picking a pass from Thomas Partey calmly beat the goalkeeper.
Samuel Owusu made it 3-1 in the 65th minute, the tricky winger was sent on goal by Thomas Partey, he calmed his nerves and beat goalkeeper Mohammed Al Bakri.
André Ayew killed the game off in the 83rd minute with a simple header to make it 4-1, before substitute Caleb Ekuban rounded the game off with a fine header.
The game ended 5-1, Ghana after two attempts win their first game under CK Akonnor and are well hyped for the African Cup of Nation qualifiers (AFCON) against Sudan in November.
