Leicester City center-back Daniel Amartey suffered an injury in Sunday’s English Premier League clash against West Ham United at the King Power.
The Ghanaian center-back, who has been out for almost 2 years now and recently made a comeback in a Carabao cup game against Arsenal was handed his 3rd consecutive start in all competition and 2nd consecutive league start by manager Brendan Rodgers.
Amartey went down in the 53rd minute after a challenge and was replaced by new signee Cengiz Ünder.
Speaking to the media after the game, manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that Amartey’s injury was a hamstring problem.
Amartey will be assessed on Monday to ascertain the extent of the injury.
Leicester City lost the game 3-0.
