Ghanaian center back Daniel Amartey made his return from injury after 2 months layoff.

Daniel Amartey suffered an injury in Leicester’s 3-0 defeat to West Ham at the King Power Stadium in October.

The 25-years-old has since been sidelined, but made his return in Leicester City’s 2-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday afternoon.

Jamie Vardy opened the scoring for Leicester City from the spot in the dying embers of the first half, before Toby Alderweireld put the ball at the back of his own net in the second half.

Daniel Amartey was introduced into the game in the 60th minute and was solid at the back as Leicester kept Tottenham at bay.

Amartey will hope his performance against Spurs will earn him a starting place in Leicester City’s Boxing Day fixture against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.
