Hearts of Oak’s talisman Daniel Afriyie scored the only goal of the game. He was at the right place in to finish off a good work by substitute Umar Bashiru on the left flank.
With the 1-0 win, the Black Galaxies advance to the final round of the qualifiers with a 4-0 aggregate win.
Ghana will now face bitterest rivals Nigeria in the final qualifying round, with the winner securing a place at the 2023 CHAN tournament to be played in Algeria next year.
