Erstwhile Hearts of Oak and Black Stars right back Dan Quaye has named his greatest players to feature in the Ghana Premier league.
Dan Quaye played in the Premier league for over a decade and established himself as a household name, he featured for Great Olympics from 1995-1999 and then for Hearts of Oak from 1999-2006.
Quaye was part of the Hearts of Oak team that won the CAF Champions league in 2000, and the CAF Confederation cup in 2004.
Speaking in an interview with CITI TV in a program dubbed “The tracker”, now retired Quaye stated that the top three greatest players to ever feature in the Ghana Premier include former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah, Charles Asampong Taylor and himself.
“I will choose Stephen Appiah and then I will pick Charles Taylor.
“Finally I will choose myself because I am proud of what I have achieved,” he revealed on The Tracker on Citi TV.
Dan Quaye won 6 league titles with Hearts of Oak. He was a member of the team that represented Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
