Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has provided update on the condition of coronavirus-struck Jordan Ayew.

The Ghanaian forward contracted the deadly virus following his return from international duty, he has since then been in isolation and missed Crystal Palaces’ 1-1 draw against Brighton at the Selhurst park last week Sunday.

“We’ve spoken a couple of times on the phone of course because he’s self-isolating,” Roy Hodgson told the media ahead of Saturday’s game against Fulham.

“Certainly the last time I spoke to him, I think at the end of yesterday, he felt he had no symptoms but was disappointed the test came up negative and to risk missing two games.”

Ayew, who is an integral member of the Palace team is likely to be available for selection next weekend when they travel to Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.
