Accra Hearts of Oak on Thursday announced the death of former player and skipper Jonathan Oti Ankrah.
The former Hearts of Oak skipper passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the age of 84.
Reports suggests Jonathan Oti Ankrah passed away in the United States after battling with Coronavirus.
Jonathan Oti Ankrah, also known as Joe Dakota in his days played as a center back. He was a pillar in defence of Hearts of Oak during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Joe Dakota also featured for Ghana. He was part of the team that represented Ghana at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico.
