Congress approves monthly allowance for Ghana FA Executive council

A new payment structure has been approved by Congress at the 26th Ghana Football Association Ordinary Congress which is currently being held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku will earn GH¢12,000 at the of every month.

The Vice President of the Association, Mark Addo will earn GH¢7,000 monthly, whiles the nine other members of the Executive Council of the GFA will earn GH¢4,000.

Kurt Okraku will as well earn GH¢1,600 as sitting allowance, whiles the Vice President, Mark Addo will earn GH¢1,400 per sitting.

The other ExCo members will receive GH¢1,300 at every sitting.

Proposals to pay $500 per day to the GFA President as travel and feeding allowance on international travels and GH¢600 on domestic assignments were also accepted.

The vice President will also earn $400 per day on international travels and GH¢500 on domestic assignments.

Other ExCo members will receive $300 per day on international travels and GH¢400 on domestic assignments.

However, the previous $15,000 ex-gratia that Executive Committee members under Kwesi Nyantakyi earned at the end of their tenure has been scrapped.
