Head Coach of Wamanafo Mighty Royals FC, Mensah Logosu, notably known as Lion Coach has advised Ghanaian football administrators to believe in Ghanaian coaches and create a perfect environment for them to succeed.

According to the head coach of the Access Bank Division One League side, there are numerous good coaches in the country. However, the lack of trust and time from football administrators has made it hard for them to blossom.

“I urge all club chairmen to give football coaches time. For instance if you agree to sign a coach, you need to give him time so he can bring out the best in himself,” the Lion Coach told MahamaShaibu.com.

“But so far, the chairmen do not trust the coaches and do not give them time, and that pushes the supporters to put pressure on the coaches.

“So I’m urging all clubs in Ghana, especially the big clubs, those participating in Africa to have confidence in Ghanaian coaches because there are so many good coaches.”

While wishing Medeama and Dreams FC who are Ghana’s representatives in the CAF Inter-club competitions the very best, Coach Logosu went on to say that he believes Ghana football will be at the top of African Football in the coming years.

“I believe if things are done the way i’ve said, Ghana Football will become better and we will be at the top of African Football within the next four years. I wish Medeama and Dreams the very best in Africa,” he added.

Coach Mensah Logosu recently signed for Mighty Royals. The burgeoning manager has been tasked to lead the team to the country’s topflight league, the betPawa Premier League.

Mensah Logosu in his short managerial career has an excellent track road. He led Debibi United to the Division One League in the 2021/22 season, before leading Eleven Wonders to the Zone One playoff, missing out on a promotion place after losing to Bofoakwa Tano on penalties.
