Former Dreams FC midfielder Cletus Nombil has signed for Israeli fold Hapoel Kfar Saba.

Cletus joins the Hapoel-based side for the rest of the season. He joins just days after Hapoel Jerusalem announced that they’ve reached an agreement with him to terminate his contract.

“We are pleased to announce that international Ghanaian midfielder Cletus Nombil signed at this time with the club on a contract until the end of the season and will be in charge of the professional team already in the upcoming game,” Hapoel Kfar Saba announced in Hebrew on Facebook.

Cletus has been playing in Israel since September 2020. He arrived in the country from Ghanaian side Dreams FC, joining Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem.

Last season, Cletus helped the Hapoel Jerusalem secure promotion to the Israeli top flight league for the first time in over two decades.

The Ghanaian midfielder will be hoping to replicate similar feat with Hapoel Kfar Saba who are currently seated in 3rd place in the Israeli National League with 33 points from 22 games, 4 points behind leaders MS Kfar Qasem.

Cletus will be available for selection for Hapoel Kfar Saba’s next league game which will be against MS Kfar Qasem on Monday, February 7 at the Levita Stadium.
