Posted by Black Stars manager CK Akonnor will later today announce his squad for the upcoming friendly match against the Mali national team next month.
The Black Stars manager will make the announcement via the Ghana FA live Facebook broadcast dubbed GFA News at 4:30pm.
The Black Stars, who haven’t been in action since November last year will be back in action against neighbors Mali on 9 October 2020 in Antalya, Turkey.
The game will be CK Akonnor’s first game since he took over from Kwesi Appiah in February.
With no local football since mid-March, CK Akonnor is expected to name a side full of foreign players, with the likes of Kamal Sowah, John Antwi, Nicholas Opoku, Lawrence Ati and Bernard Mensah expected to earn call-ups.
The Black Stars will return to competitive action in November against Sudan for the 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
