Kudus Mohammed earned a call-up for Ghana’s friendly games against Mali and Qatar in Turkey later this month.
Unfortunately, the 20-year-old has sustained an injury in training earlier today and has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against Groningen.
“Although we have also seen Mohammed Kudus at work in his position. However, he dropped out during training and is now not fit for competition”, Coach of Ajax Erik Ten Hag has revealed.
Kudus will undergo a scan tomorrow to know the extent of the injury.
Meanwhile, Black Stars manager, CK Akonnor is expected to monitor the situation and check whether Kudus will be fit for the friendlies.
