Kumasi Asante Kotoko has parted ways with head coach Maxwell Konadu.
This comes in after the club lost 1-0 to Great Olympics in an outstanding game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday evening.
Coach Johnson Smith has been appointed as interim manager. He will lead the team in the league fixture against Dreams on Sunday and the CAF Champions league fixture against Al Hilal Omdurman on Wednesday.
The club will communicate any new developments to the public.
Kotoko currently sit 10th on the league log with 5 points after 4 games, they’ve won a game, drawn 2 and lost 1.
