Ghana Premier League holders Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Dennis Korsah from Ebusua Dwarfs.
The left back joins on a 3-year deal for an undisclosed fee, replacing Raddy Ovouka who recently joined American fold New Mexico on a loan deal with an option to sign permanently.
Dennis Korsah enjoyed a great 2020/21 season with Ebusua Dwarfs. However, his splendid performances wasn’t enough to prevent the Crabs from avoiding the drop.
The 25-year old featured in 32 league games for Dwarfs last season, scoring 5 goals, providing 4 assists and winning the man of the match award on 3 occasions.
Korsah becomes Hearts of Oak’s first signing of the second transfer window of the 2021/22 season and will be available for Sunday’s derby clash against Great Olympics.
The Phobians currently sit 5th on the league table with 23 points from 14 games and will hope the arrival of Korsah will help them retain the Premier League title.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak is also expected to announce the signing of former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari in the coming hours.
