Asante Kotoko has been ordered by a court to pay Gh¢120,000 to renowned football administrator, Mr. Ashford Tetteh-Oku for his services in the litigation involving the club and Esperance over the unpaid transfer fee of Kwame Bonsu.
Asante Kotoko after wasting all means to get the transfer fee of Kwame Bonsu from Esperance employed Offside Consult, a company owned by Mr. Ashford Tetteh-Oku to help recover the transfer fee.
Ashford Tetteh-Oku succeeded in helping Asante Kotoko recover the funds. However, he wasn’t settled for his services.
The former Premier League Board (PLB) chairman dragged the Porcupine Warriors to court after all efforts to get his settlement were inefficacious.
The court ruled that Asante Kotoko must pay Gh¢120,000 to Offside Consult [Ashford Tetteh-Oku] in one week. Failure to settle the debt in one week will see the club’s account frozen, according to a report from Oyerepa FM.
Kwame Bonsu joined Esperance in 2019 for a fee reported to be around $150,000.
