Reports coming in from Argentina indicates that football legend Diego Maradona has succumbed to death.
The 1986 World Cup winner died at the age of 60 after he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest, according to reports in his native Argentina.
The football icon had a heart attack at his home just two weeks after leaving hospital where he underwent surgery on a blot clot in his brain.
Maradona played for Argentinos Juniors, Boca Junior, Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla and Newell’s Old Boys.
He was loved by a plethora of football followers for his amazing dribbling skills and widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, and by many as the greatest ever.
Maradona was responsible for the infamous ‘Hand of God’ that eliminated England from the 1986 tournament.
He won numerous trophies with his club teams and national teams, including the World Cup in 1986.
