Christian Atsu didn’t make Newcastle’s match day squad.

Daniel Amartey didn’t make the squad for Leicester’s 1-1 draw at Watford.

In the Championship, Andy Yiadom was out for Reading through an injury.

Dede Ayew scored and provided an assist as Swansea defeated Middlesbrough 3-0 away from home.

Albert Adomah played 64 minutes for Cardiff City in a 2-0 victory against Leeds United.

SPAIN

Thomas Partey played 90 minutes for Atlético Madrid in a 1-0 victory against Mohammed Salisu’s Real Valladolid. Mohammed Salisu watched the entire game from the bench.

Baba Iddrisu played the entire 90 minutes for Real Mallorca in a 1-1 draw against Leganes. Lumor Agbenyenu is still out injured for Mallorca.

Joseph Aidoo came on in the 72nd minute for Celta Vigo as they pulverize Deportivo Alaves 6-0.

In La Liga 2, Emmanuel Lomotey picked up an injury and was subbed off in the 68th minute as Extremadura held Malaga to a 1-1 stalemate. Sabit Abdulai watched the entire game from the bench.

Ernest Ohemeng watched the entire game from the bench in Mirandes’ 2-1 to lose to Ponferrandina.
