Posted by The Black Starlets (U17) and Black Satellites were handed tough draws for their respective WAFU qualifying tournaments.
In a virtual draw held in Abidjan on Tuesday, Black Starlets were drawn in Group B and will face winners of the last WAFU U17 Qualifying tournament Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire in the Group stage of this year’s competition.
Host nation Benin who were also drawn in the same group with Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo.
The tournament which was earlier scheduled for November, will now be staged between December 5-20, 2020.
The Black Satellites (U20) were also drawn in Group B alongside Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire for the WAFU Qualifying tournament to be staged in Togo.
Host Nation, Togo were drawn alongside Niger, Benin and Burkina Faso.
The tournament is scheduled to be staged between November 14 -29, 2020.
