Black Satellites pip Euro Africa in preparatory game ahead of 2022 WAFU U-20 Championsip

The Black Satellites (U-20) continued preparations for the 2022 WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations in a friendly encounter against Euro Africa at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Satellites won the game 1-0. King Faisal forward Zubairu Ibrabim came from the bench to score the only from a spot-kick in the second half.

The team will continue training in Prampram and will be involved in another game against Division One side Heart of Lions on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Ghana will go into the competition as defending champions having come from behind to beat Burkina Faso 2-1 at the Stade Charles De Gaulles in Porto Novo, Benin two years ago.

The Black Satellites have been pitted in Group B and will open their campaign against Nigeria on Sunday, May 8, before playing Burkina Faso in the final group game on Saturday, May 14. Both games will be played at the Stade Général Seyni Kountché.

The competition will be played from Saturday, May 7 to Friday, May 20, 2022. Finalists will secure a place at the U-20 African Cup to be played in Egypt between February 18 to March, 12, 2023.

  1. Goal scoring is problem for the team then if they score one with a sport kick ,then the striken engine should bear more shape, how can a team with crack select side score only one goal through sport kick think about my remarks
