The Black Queens have departed Accra for Conakry for the first leg of the first round of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics Games to be held in Paris.
The team made up of twenty three (23) players and technical staff left Accra on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 via Air Cote D’Ivoire and are expected to arrive in Conakry in the coming hours.

In the squad are the likes of Cynthia Fiindib Konlan, skipper Janet Egyir, Evelyn Badu, Grace Asantewaa, Princela Adubea, Doris Boaduwaa, Susan Ama Duah, Jennifer Cudjoe and so on.
Dreamz Ladies’, Stella Nyamekye and Ampem Darkoa Ladies attacker, Mary Amponsah who were integral members of the team that won the WAFU Zone B U-20 championship were selected.
FC Nordsiaelland’s Jennifer Cudjoe also returns to the team after a long absence.

The Black Queens will face Guinea in Conakry on Friday, June 14, before hosting them in Accra few days later.
