Black Princesses hit ten pass Immigration ladies in friendly encounter

The Black Princesses (Female U-20 team) defeated Immigration Ladies 10-1 in a friendly encounter at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

The team grabbed their goals through hat-tricks from Stella Nyamekye and Tracy Twum. Mary Amponsah scored a brace while Linda Mintah and Agnes Yeboah grabbed the other goals.

The friendly game against the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Women’s Division One League side forms part of the team’s preparations for the Girls U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations to be played in Kumasi this month.

Ghana will compete with Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo and Burkina Faso in the first edition of the competition scheduled for the Baba Yara Sports stadium from Saturday, May 20 – Saturday, June 4, 2023.

The Black Princesses are drawn in Group A alongside Benin and Cote D’Ivoire. Ghana will open their campaign on Saturday, May 20 against Benin before taking on Cote D’Ivoire in the other group A game on Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Meanwhile, the Management Committee of the Black Princesses on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 visited the team in Prampram to motivate them ahead of the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations.

The Committee which was led by Chairman Linford Asamoah Boadu donated drinks and other essentials to the team to aid in their readiness for the tournament.
