The Black Princesses (Female U-20 team) defeated their Niger counterparts 11-0 in a friendly encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team grabbed their goals through hat-tricks from Stella Nyamekye and Faiza Seidu. Maafia Nyame scored a brace, while Helen Alormenu, Tracy Twum and Mary Amponsah grabbed the other goals.

The friendly game against Niger forms part of the team’s preparations for the Girls U-20 WAFU B Cup of Nations to be played in Kumasi starting this weekend.
Ghana will compete with Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo and Burkina Faso in the first edition of the competition scheduled for the Baba Yara Sports stadium from Saturday, May 20 – Saturday, June 4, 2023.
The Black Princesses are drawn in Group A alongside Benin and Cote D’Ivoire. Ghana will open their campaign on Saturday, May 20 against Benin before taking on Cote D’Ivoire in the other group A game on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
